Meet Our Principals

Meet Stacy Lind  |  Elementary Principal

Born in Germany, Ms. Lind moved to California as a young child and eventually El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso and promptly left for college without a doubt in her mind that she wanted to become an elementary teacher.

Ms. Lind Graduated from Sul Ross State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in elementary education. After graduating college, Ms. Lind began teaching in the Midland/Odessa area while simultaneously working on her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from ASU. This led her to learning about the newly opened Texas Leadership Charter Academy, and she made her transition to San Angelo in 2011. 

Ms. Lind has been teaching at our elementary campus for over ten years, teaching grade levels ranging from second to sixth focusing mainly on reading and writing. She has also served as the Lighthouse Coordinator for the last five years helping guide the elementary campus through the Leader in Me process. 

She shares with us, “The Leader in Me program has been foundational to guiding me through my personal growth, along with my professional growth. Without the Leader in Me program and guidance the leaders at TLCA have provided me, I would not be where I am in my career today. Experiencing this transformation first-hand makes me passionate about instilling these habits into our students to make them successful in school and also in life.” 

Growing up in a bilingual household and knowing what it is like to transition to a new country as a child, also makes Ms. Lind passionate about serving ESL and Newcomer students. “I look forward to this coming year and all that it will hold. It will be so good to have our returning students back with us, and to be able to welcome our brand new families to TLCA!”

Meet Ms. Sabrina McCann  |  Elementary Assistant Principal

Ms. McCann joined the Principal Team at Elementary in the Fall of 2021, but has served at TLCA for the past 13 years. She is a graduate of Angelo State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and focus on Early Childhood Education. She is completing her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership this summer from ASU.

Ms. McCann is a tremendous educator who loves to build relationships and connections with the families she serves.
